BackMarch Town Cricket Club player and coach Mark Estall swapped his cricket whites for running shoes to take part in the Oxford Half Marathon on Sunday.
Mark, who is the club’s first XI wicketkeeper-batsman as well as a coach, completed the 13.1-mile course in an impressive two hours and 13 minutes.
His efforts raised more than £1,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support, a charity which provides vital care and assistance to people living with cancer.
Macmillan’s specially trained nurses and advisers work to ensure cancer patients receive the best possible care and support, wherever they are in the UK.
Mark’s fundraising achievement was an excellent effort both on and off the sporting field, with the money going towards a very worthwhile cause.
