BackA dominant series performance at Vadodara has pushed left-arm spinner Vaishnavi Sharma into the top 100 of the ICC Women's ODI Player Rankings for bowlers. The 20-year-old climbed 53 spots in the November 3, 2026 update to settle at 94th, the reward for nine wickets across the final two matches of India's 3-0 sweep over Zimbabwe in the ICC Women's Championship series.
The left-arm spinner took four wickets in the second one-day international and then, in only her third and final outing with the ball in the three-match series, returned figures of 5/39 in the series finale to complete a five-wicket haul. That match-winning effort in the third ODI also brought her the Player of the Match recognition for India Women.
Spinner Sayali Satghare was another Indian bowler to benefit from the series. She moved up 18 places to 85th in the ODI bowling rankings after a disciplined final-ODI spell of 2/11 from six overs that included 30 dot balls. Medium-pacer Kranti Gaud, who picked up one wicket at Vadodara, gained two places to move to 24th in the same list.
Among Zimbabwe's players, opener Nomvelo Sibanda added two places to her batting ranking to reach 60th after she dismissed Yastika Bhatia from the very first delivery of the third ODI. Opener Modester Mupachikwa, who scored 37 runs in the series finale, moved three places to 36th in the batting rankings. Josephine Nkomo also climbed two places to reach 49th following her contributions across the series.
Pratika Rawal capped a consistent series by registering her third consecutive half-century, a run of form that lifted her three places to 18th in the ICC Women's ODI batting rankings. Shafali Verma, who struck 51 runs in the final ODI, moved up eight places to sit joint 65th in the same list, rounding off a productive series for India's top order.
