Ishan Kishan surged 17 spots to eighth in the latest ICC Men’s T20I player rankings after his match-winning performance against Pakistan in the ongoing ICC Men's T20 World Cup.

The wicketkeeper-batter is currently India’s top run-getter in the tournament and sixth overall, amassing 158 runs in three innings at an average of 52.66, including two half-centuries. His standout knock was a commanding 77 against Pakistan in Colombo.

At the summit of the batting rankings, Abhishek Sharma retained the No. 1 position despite recent dips in form. In the bowling charts, Rashid Khan climbed one place to second, narrowing the gap on leader Varun Chakravarthy.


Among the biggest movers, Brad Evans jumped 10 spots to fifth after back-to-back three-wicket hauls, while Axar Patel rose to 14th and Jasprit Bumrah advanced to 15th. Matthew Humphreys also made a major leap, climbing 23 places to 23rd.

The race for the top all-rounder ranking remains intense, with Saim Ayub reclaiming No. 1 after a three-wicket display against India, edging past rival Sikandar Raza. Dipendra Singh Airee and Azmatullah Omarzai now share fourth place following strong outings.

Elsewhere in the batting list, notable risers include Ryan Rickelton (up 22 places to 11th), Aiden Markram (up to joint-15th), Saiteja Mukkamalla (up 16 spots to 21st) and England youngster Jacob Bethell, who climbed 22 positions to 32nd.
