BackIndia all-rounder Hardik Pandya has found himself in the spotlight for something very different from his exploits on the cricket field. The 32-year-old featured in a special video by world-famous YouTuber MrBeast, taking on a baseball challenge alongside Indian content creator CarryMinati.
The challenge brought together some of the biggest names in the sporting world and tested their skills in unfamiliar disciplines. Pandya rose to the occasion in his segment, winning the $100,000 prize despite having no previous experience with baseball. However, his decision to give away the entire amount made his appearance even more special.
The video, titled Beat Professional Athlete, Win $100,000, was uploaded to MrBeast’s YouTube channel on October 31. In Pandya’s segment, the participants had to hit baseballs out of the stadium in a home-run challenge. The Indian all-rounder faced MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, with CarryMinati also joining the segment.
Despite stepping into an unfamiliar sport, Pandya showcased his hitting ability and managed to send three balls out of the stadium. His performance helped him beat the popular YouTuber and claim the $100,000 prize. The challenge offered a different glimpse of the cricketer, who has been away from competitive cricket since the conclusion of the IPL 2026 season.

While winning the challenge was an achievement in itself, Pandya’s gesture after the victory caught even more attention. Instead of keeping the prize money, the all-rounder decided to donate the entire $100,000 towards charitable causes. It is understood that the proceeds have gone to ADAPT and Community Streeties India. The contribution is aimed at supporting underprivileged children and providing care for stray dogs, adding a meaningful touch to his appearance in the video.
MrBeast’s special challenge also featured several renowned athletes from different sporting backgrounds. The line-up included basketball stars LeBron James and Caitlin Clark, footballer Erling Haaland, gymnast Simone Biles and figure skater Alysa Liu. The video brought together some of the world’s most recognisable sporting personalities, but Pandya’s combination of an unexpected baseball victory and a charitable gesture gave his segment a memorable finish.
