BackChennai Super Kings entered the upcoming IPL Auction with Rs 43.4 crore remaining in their budget. The team can now add 9 more players – four from overseas and five from India – bringing their squad to the maximum size of 16. MS Dhoni was retained for Rs 4 crore, Ruturaj Gaikwad for Rs 18 crore, Shivam Dube for Rs 12 crore, and Noor Ahmed for Rs 10 crore.
The Chennai Super Kings will not have any Right to Match (RTM) cards in the auction, However, the teams could retain any numbers of players with no set limit.
