Kishan's aggressive approach was evident from the outset, as he greeted Shepherd with a maximum that sailed deep into the stands. This powerful stroke was a highlight of his brief but impactful innings, where he scored 30 runs off just 10 deliveries, including three fours and two towering sixes. His dazzling display ended when he was caught by Rovman Powell off Shamar Joseph's bowling, a slower delivery catching Kishan off guard as he attempted another pull shot.

Match Overview

The West Indies won the toss and opted to bowl first, setting the stage for India to bat under challenging conditions. The rain played spoilsport, significantly shortening the match and demanding an immediate attacking mindset from the batsmen. As of the latest update, India stood at 66 for 3 after 4.1 overs, with Shreyas Iyer batting on 6 runs from 5 balls.
