BackIndia vs New Zealand second ODI match is being played at the Hnry Stadium, Wellington. During India’s chase of 135 runs in the game, skipper Shubman Gill was out for a golden duck in the match. He was dismissed by Jacob Duffy in the match, as the India National Cricket Team captain created an unwanted record in his name.
The Men in Blue have been leading the series and have been in firm control in the second ODI as well, after bowling the Kiwis out for 134 runs, as the inexperienced pace-bowling attack has been in sublime form. They have been delivering amazing spells against the Kiwi batters and have been successful so far in the series.
Shubman Gill tried to play the line with soft hands, and the ball took a thick outside edge despite playing the ball with soft hands; the ball carried to the second slip, with Henry Nicholls taking a sharp catch off Jacob Duffy’s ball. After getting out for a golden duck, it was the first time in his ODI career.
Wicket of Shubman Gill 🦆 Poor fielding and poor batting expected from Rohit Sharma but not from Gill https://t.co/sjSt30quvn

This is also only the second time in 71 innings from debut. Shubman Gill did have struggles once the ball moved around a bit, nipping back after pitching. This is a place he still has to work on if he wants to score runs in swinging and bouncing conditions like New Zealand and South Africa.
